Today we visited the UNESCO town of Telc. Pronounced Telch like belch. Un untouched 16th. century town.
Had a limited castle tour as they are filming the movie "Emperor". Barbara auditioned for a solo and got the part!! Only problem, we can't be here for the rest of the filming.

OAT prides themselves on learning and discovery ,experiences and today did not disappoint. Our first stop was a medieval monastery near the town. The Gothic buildings were massive, dating back to the 14th century. While the monks took vows of labor and poverty, their was nothing shabby about their home. Today we got to go into the buildings. ... a big block of fresh cheese. The markets in Europe are the greatest thing ever-- everything is cheap and delicious. It was free (!) to go into the castle courtyards, so we wandered around in the castle and the gardens for a few hours.
