We had a break down in communication somewhere today though so didn't get the Roti, although I think we paid for them 1MYR (20p) each - so we ate our dinner and went around the supermarket to grab a couple of small things for breakfast and lunches on the islands and made our way back over to them to get a Roti to take back with us. ... thing about the city- they pipe out birdsong through speakers... Not nice birdsong, just squawking which sounds weird. We hopped on a seven hour bus the next day to Penang which was wonderful. Double seat each, air con and a nice ride through the countryside. We found a lush hostel, had hugs with the manager (Charlie) and enjoyed a drink before bed in our cosy littlle pods.
