... my knapsack on after. On the other side of the scanner, the man pressed a large button on a table, and a light turned red. A uniformed agent took his pack to search it. Then it was my turn. Was this where my worst fears would come true? Would the food in my bag get me into trouble? Would the scary mustachio interrogate me?

I pressed the button... and the light turned green. The agent waved me through.

I was in Mexico.
