... en de Anticuchos (koeienhart) al heb geprobeerd. Je zou het niet geloven, maar vooral die laatste is erg lekker! De cavia staat nog op mijn lijstje.. Ook de drankjes hier, zoals Piscosour (smaakt een beetje naar wodkalime) en de verschillende sapjes en smoothies zijn zeker de moeite waard. Zo heb ik op een marktje een smoothie geprobeerd van vers fruit met daardoor bier en rauw ei. Klinkt heel vies, maar was erg goed!

It's Party Time
... and Team Ecuador won that game. It was real good fun and put everyone in the party mood.
After dinner we all got on the beer and watched some of the opening ceremony. I have to say I was proved wrong. I really thought it was going to be rubbish, but they put on an amazing show. I was proud to be British.

Marvellous Mancora!
... The tall people stood at the back as the 'roof' sloped. Our instructor was certainly enthusiastic and she puts on the Beginners Salsa 1 CD for us to shuffle about to. She was swapping us around all the time with each other teaching us the basic steps and some basic arm movements to bring it all together. It was all going well until she found out that Sally is a Zumba instructor back home and has been taking part in classes for about 3 years now. She kind of screams ...

... fast and as far as possible as each wave recedes, then clambering onto the rocks to avoid the oncoming splashes!! After some hairy rock negotiation we made it back unscathed, vowing we'd remember to head back earlier the next day... Which we didn't, but at least we knew the route the second time!
Mancora was a really good end to Peru. We could relax, enjoy and rejuvenate before heading to our final South American country... ...

An immigration officer with a big ego and Ray Ban sunglasses stamps our passports. We're out of Ecuador. Now back to the Peruvian side...
