The Puertos
... sat down to one of the best meals I've had whilst travelling! Amazing meatballs in delicious sauce with mashed potatoes and salad. It was amazing, Havi is a brilliant cook!
Once we were all completely full, we sat and had some 'Piscolas', which is the national drink Pisco and Coca Cola. Really good! After many Piscolas, the younger members of our group went out together one last time. We all had a brilliant night, and it was a fun way to spend our last evening together!

Hmmm, It's getting better!
... Puerto Montt is the gateway to Chiloe and also the Chilean side of Patagonia. It has an amazing view of Osorno and Calbuco volcanoes. Just a quick note on the volcanoes. The Andes has around 2000 volcanoes within it's mountain range and 10% of them are active. Lets hope I don;t get to see an eruption eh! I've experienced enough with earthquake tremors!

Chilly Chile
... its summer colours but there were still plants in bloom such as the bright orange flashes of the Mutisia. It is a climbing plant that can be found throughout the Andes, with beautiful intense orange flowers.
We encountered this suspension bridge on one of our walks and. judging by the state of it, we can understand why the sign says....only one person at a time.

P. V. and beyond
... P. V. we intended to go to Talca, a town in the wine growing Central Valley, and ride the old narrow gauge train to Constitution on the coast. We booked sleeping chairs, "camas", on the bus and headed north in the evening. The bus blew right through Talca and we ended up back in Santiago. We determined that Talca was not worth backtracking for. We don't have much interest in Santiago. It's big, dirty, smoggy, and full of ...
