    ... unsurfaced road and it was now very hot, thought to be in mid 90's. A short way from the dam we came across a group of 20+ White-backed Vultures arguing over the remains of a carcass - a great photo opportunity of these beasts at their best or is worst. There was also one Hooded Vulture present and luckily he was also able to be photographed well. Fascinating to this smaller vulture sneak in and try and grab a share while the bigger White-backed Vultures squabbled.
