... degrees to come back to land. Jackie was unaware of the seafront location and, being a nervous flyer and having read far too many MH370 conspiracy stories, was genuinely convinced that a rogue pilot was condemning us all to a watery grave. It was only later when I learned that she would have benefited from being informed of the airport's beach location. Well she knows now!
So we made it off the plane, safely but still in slight pain, all ready to start our Niçoise ...
Yes we've made it to Nice where we plan to chase the sun for 5 days. Once again staying at an Airbnb, when we were picked up by Cyril at the train station in a BMW, we knew we were in Côte d'Azur region and in for a good time. Our hosts are generous, but as one works night shift, and the other day, they have rented out their bedroom to us with Ensuite while they sleep in alternate shifts on the couch. But that wasn't the main problem, it ...

When your roommate knows you're lying down for a nap and knows that dinner is at 8:30 and has a watch but busts in on you at 6:10 and shouts out "We have to start getting ready are you sleeping?" in a manic, loud voice you want to punch her in the neck. Just saying.
