... Maybe all touristy places are similar. Anyhow, we walked through and looked at lots of cool things. We took pictures by the boats and church. Then we got to our destination, Projeto Tamar, and it started pouring again, with no signs of stopping. So we talked about it, waited it out, then talked some more and finally decided to come back another day. The day started with a quest for transportation information to get out of Praia do Forte. We tryed bus and car. The rental was prohibitive. So we decided to go by bus at the end of the day to Salvador in order to get a night bus to The unknown maceió. In the process we had breakfast in Casa da nati for the second time, bought some ...
... was essentially a turtle zoo, seemed slightly cruel but the had a secure hatching area on the beach. The turtles were huge! We then left the "zoo" and had a corn on the cob and an Acarye, like a dumpling- typical to Salvador. We also had a caramel coated coconut desert thing, it was nice.
