As the day turned into night we moved our party from the chill out pool to the party one and, as we enjoyed some more pre-drinks, our group of friends grew. A couple of the guys moved over to a ping pong table and had a round of beer pong and then we all played this flip cup game where you break up into two even groups and stand either side of a long table, each person fills their cup with a couple of mouthfuls of drink and places it in front of ...

After ...

... the weather had improved and we took a walk around Fira. It does literally cling to the side of the caldera, a tumble of predominantly white painted houses, but also pink, orange, red and blue, in all different hues and shades. Amongst this abundance of colour sat white and cream churches with bold blue domes. The houses, all with rounded edges with barrel shaped roofs....just beautiful.

Today we ventured to the other side of the island, the beach! The ocean is very pretty here, it is very clear water so the different shades of blue created by the ocean floor makes for very beautiful scenery. There were only two restaurants open on the beach ...
