      ... keep it going!

After a two hour flight we got to Cancun, and in comparison to Monterrey we were greeted by warm air and rays of sun. I hadn’t seen the sun in over a week in Mty. Because my friend Ailed had a holdup at work, we waited at a little park in front of the airport for about two hours for her to pick us up. I was just walking a little circle and passed by the road when suddenly a car stopped in front of me. It was her :D ...

... actually felt, with the styles of the many small shops and restaurants. I was expecting it to be more like any other tourist destination, but this felt very genuine. Not as Scandinavian-crowded with Swedish things in every store, like for example Rhodes or Phuket. Today, I got to see more of the surprisingly large city, and this time in daylight. Our office is great! Very big and modern. It's not too far from where we live. We've fixed simcards, had an introduction and gone to ...

So we got our little domestic flight to Cancun, arriving at 6am. After taking some time to try as sleep on the floor again we have up and had breakfast, waiting for a bus to Playa del Carmen. Stepping out of the air-con building was ridiculous. The heat is melting and the humidity even worse.

Arriving at Playa del Carmen we wandered round looking for a hostel. In these 20 minutes I feel I must have sweated out half my body weight. Eventually we settled on Tres Mundes ...
