... We've had a several people come up to us, ask where we're from, how long we're staying and to tell us all about the history of Merida, all the free museums to visit, where the nice parks are and even chat about our next stop, Palenque.

Setting up and Signing up
I arrived in Playa del Carmen excited to start a new job where I would be diving and learning more about the reefs and driving small passenger boats and getting more involved in Conservation. The main office is in Playa so I stayed there for a few days, filled out some paperwork, read a lot of paperwork and got more familiar with the company while trying to get myself setup for the next year.

Viva Mexico!
... naa sitter i Tulum har jeg just kastet i meg en helt stekt fisk(for foerste gang i mitt liv, tror jeg) og ellers bare tatt livet med ro. Det var en god gruppe folk jeg hang med i Playa, saa vi faar se hva tiden bringer her. Dette er en mer avslappet plass, saa jeg tenker meg et par late dager paa stranda foer jeg mulignes krysser grensa og drar over til Belize. Som jeg har sagt litt for mange ganger her til naa paa bloggen: Vi faar se.

Just could not stand looking at all the filthy dishes from the last couple of days so turned the cocina (kitchen) hot water tap on and prepared to wait 5 minutes for the standard trickle and shocker! out splashed a biggest and best flow of warm water I have ever witnessed in this country.
