... made our way to a main road and into the area known as the Zagorje... Stopped in a restored museum village called Kumrovec, the birth place of Josip Tito ( the father of Yugoslavia communism). Interesting place totally restored to the old ways. Lots of pictures of Tito here with various political heads including Nixon. Went on a hunt for castles after....there are several in the area. Both very pleased with our purchases we decided to head out of the city to ...

... desk and our adventurous spirit, we headed out the front door and into the wilderness of Zagreb. Blue skies, sunshine and 29 degrees welcomed us! A real shift in temperature compared to the rest of the trip so far. We headed up to the top part of town (that is where it is at apparently) and wandered around. We visited the CHURCH and made our way through the fruit markets. They are on every day and apparently are a great place for ...

    The Museum of Broken Relationships

... museums aren't 'real' but they are in A different way. A lot of the stories in here, anyone could relate to, the person who sent it might be from the Philippines or India, or Russia, or America, but even if were different cultures, relationships are still important to us all, and sometimes these relationships don't end the way we thought they would. But there's beauty in the pain. Sometimes it just takes a while to see it. Sometimes the end is just the beginning. And ...
