    ... main train station: vni_kolodvor. My legs were giving out, so I took a taxi from the train station to the hotel (I think I was robbed - the guy had a meter going that ended up at 260 kuna...$46.50!!! I am going to learn how to do the buses and trams :-)

    Feet up for an hour, then I trekked over the road to a cute supermarket and stocked up on vino and cheese :-)

    And to Aleksandra's for her apple streusel!!!!

    ... so we had a bit of a chat because the had been traveling for a few months. We got to the lakes at around lunchtime , 2 hr van trip, and rob and I did a walk that took about 3 hrs all up. Got heaps of photos. So the bus for split left at 230 which obviously we did not make. So we took a bus at 515 to Zadar which we had never heard of but turned out to be an amazing place!.
