Today we went into Playa del Carmen, so do some shopping. We met after breakfast, and the off we went around 11:30. After taking 3 taxis (9 of us) we met up at the north end of 5th ave. ... the first drop hurting my boy parts I decided not to do this one, I got in for a brief swim but only 1 guy did the jump. We didn't stay too long because everyone was a little over being in the cold water, compared to the beach water the fresh Cenote water is pretty cold. Anyway - Playa del Carmen is delightful. There are more tourists here and you can see why. The main road, 5th avenue, closed off to traffic runs for about 12 blocks, restaurants, bars, trinket shops line both sides. The beach is just divine, bar the thousands of tourists baking on their sun lounges. ...
