      ... were picked up from the station by Aude and Santiago, who kindly dropped us at our hotel, Riviera Caribe Maya, a few blocks away.

      After quickly throwing our bags in our poolside room and changing into more weather appropriate shorts and t-shirts we walked down to the main strip, 5th Avenue, for drinks and a catch up.

      ... which is surprisingly modern, a washing machine and all the kitchen supplies we need. It couldn't be any better! Oh, wait, it could! We have a big rooftop pool as well, sunbeds and a JACUTZZI! It was too dark to see much of it when I checked it out, but the view from the roof was amazing.       ... time and it was amazing to watch dad as he gently spent time with each child. There were no fights, arguments or upheavals, they were all having a great time together. Then I thought I'd better try out the gym, be rude not too, so a quick 30 minute Exercycle and time for a shower and a stroll down to Avenue Five. It's time when we arrived it didn't seem so busy.       So once you add in my income from Canada.. which I would bet equals a whopping $4000.. that's $16,000... and that includes having to drop 1k on my flight home.. That's all my food, accommodation, transport.. EVERYTHING for 11 months. Think about how much you've spent in the last 11 months? I'd be willing to bet it is FAR more than that!!!! Lets say on average you'd earn $45,000... are you trying to tell me ...
