... the lunch hour began. The builders came in in hordes. Seated, supplied with bread and wine followed by pasta and then time to get back to work. We moved on and later found a great pizza place. Pizzas are good here (unlike Rome). We then followed Fabio's advice and caught the ferry into Como. We spent the afternoon walking about the main part of the city - lovely old buildings, huge Duomo (surprise!!), partially unfinished waterfront, shops ...

We arrived in this beautiful city at dusk so we weren't able to get the most out of it. Stayed there only for one hour and we spent that time in Parco Civico capturing the flickering lights of the city surrounded by mountains. The view from the shores of Lake Lugano was fascinating. It's truly a must-visit city and I'd love to go back and see it in broad daylight. ...

It's honestly stunning, the crown jewel of Milan.   The inside however wasn't as nearly good as ...

... and the odd tourist). Drinks at little bar that filled up with students. German beer and aponard spritz ( equal proseco and liqueur with ice orange slice and water and a green olive). Dinner was ok-pizza and pasta- fun watching a couple of old queers at next table. Hotel room larger than usual and quite comfy but low water pressure. Could open window which is always a blessing- very hot ...

... to settle in for a bit and show JAMES and MANU the ropes. A major surprise when we arrived was that we had a treasure hunt waiting for us from Group 1 - they really are rascals. We found our treasure which were some personalised origami figures made for each of us. Not only was this amazing but the other thing was that DANI GURL was flying down to join in with the Theatrino banter!! We went to pick her up and we did a cheeky flash ...
