... the lunch hour began. The builders came in in hordes. Seated, supplied with bread and wine followed by pasta and then time to get back to work. We moved on and later found a great pizza place. We arrived in this beautiful city at dusk so we weren't able to get the most out of it. Stayed there only for one hour and we spent that time in Parco Civico capturing the flickering lights of the city surrounded by mountains. The view from the shores of Lake Lugano was fascinating. It's truly a must-visit city and I'd love to go back and see it in broad daylight. ...
After our long trip from Chamonix we arrived pretty late in Milan. Even though our hotel was off the main circle we were able to spend that night near Duomo thanks to tram line 14. I can't even begin to explain how breathtaking Duomo is. It's truly one of the best churches I've ever seen and I'd strongly recommend you to see it at night. ... to settle in for a bit and show JAMES and MANU the ropes. A major surprise when we arrived was that we had a treasure hunt waiting for us from Group 1 - they really are rascals. We found our treasure which were some personalised origami figures made for each of us. Not only was this amazing but the other thing was that DANI GURL was flying down to join in with the Theatrino banter!! We went to pick her up and we did a cheeky flash ...
