Today, I went up to Hamburg to meet up with my mom's coworker's friend's daughter. She lives in Hamburg and is currently studying Fashion Management. We went and took a bus tour around the city which was mainly in German and I understood most of it! We then had lunch on the lake and walked around the city until she had to go to work.

... People were yelling and screaming in the streets, then they were blowing fireworks off fireworks in the streets. Apparently people were rioting over by the Holstentor! I am not sure how long people were out last night as I had to get to bed as I had a final today, but it was quite an experience!
