Tires and Towers: Kranj and Ljubljana
... all of us participate. It was embarrassing when the old man made me dance with him and play a hat version of musical chairs but looking back it really wasnt that bad and totally a good time. The food was the best version of traditional food that we had the entire trip too so it was really a great experience!
After dinner we just went home, wrote our journals and got a lot of sleep for the next day (we knew it was going to be a long one)!! ...
Island in the middle of a Lake: Bled
... but our guide snuck us in and we found out it wasn't just closed because it was an off season but because parts of the bridge was broken!! We walked on broken boards and missing railing for a little bit of the hike along the gorge. All of this combined with it being slippery was really dangerous but no one got hurt and I am so glad we did it!

Summer Toboggan
Sadly our last day in Slovenia so we decided on a bit of 'adrenalin' for our last morning. After packing up we headed to the slopes and because it was a Saturday, the ski lifts were open! So a peaceful journey to the top watching some BMX dudes tearing up the bike track before making our way to the summer toboggan run.
Not quite sure if its just for kids but we thought ...
Bovec rafting

Once finished we transferred back to Bovec and then began our drive towards Kranjska Gora. Whilst in the Soca Valley we stopped at a few bridges to observe some different sections of the beautiful river. We then chilled out for a bit on top of the world at Vrsic before making it back to our room. Both pretty shattered we decided on another picnic dinner (also because we probably couldnt stomach another pizza!) and a relaxed evening.

Mountain Hike
... and an avalanche caused over a hundred of them to lose their lives. The chapel is a memorial to them.
We then headed back down and with tummies rumbling, walked through town and ended up with a takeaway pizza!! (There really isnt a lot of other choice when eating out here it seems!) But we were able to take it back and munch it sat on our balcony, all wrapped up with a very satisfying view and sunset.
