... We got dropped off by our hotel, we switched hotels today so we checked in. Our room is nice, it doesn't have concrete walls like the other one did which means more I welcomed visitors can get through the cracks! ... on the journey. It was a decent 5 hour drive through the countryside and along the coast to get to Sempoi where we were spending the night.

The hotel we were staying at was in the middle of a coffee plantation which employed a lot of locals and was located next to the tiny village which had about 20 or so beautifully quaint houses with immaculately tended gardens out front. It was weird to see such sweet little gardens all in ...

... a swim. Lunch was at the beach but the beach was not accessible and as normal they have one menu with one set of prices for white people and another for Asians so that was kinda annoying. Off again and we arrived at our hotel hours later but again at a high enough elevation to be a cool climate. Me and Kirsty went to bed pretty shortly after arriving as we had been up since 2 and we leave at 1am for Ijen. 30mins later we were woken up by a rapping, rapping at ...
