      ... we had the battery back up to full charge, I drove the car from that rest stop on in to Alburquerque, about 90 miles. I drove in between Stan and Nick, quite the caravan.

      The drive in to Alburquerque was really beautiful. So very different from what we're used to in green, lush Florida. The landscape is dry and desert like. Very little "green", just sand colors. Big, rolling hills and a few plateaus here ...

      ... surrounding area is built on limestone and has a network of natural springs. There is an abundance of lakes in the area but they ave experienced drought conditions so in some cases the water levels are quite low. After the rain last night the rivers are high and running fiercely . I can only imagine what it would be like to be caught in a flash flood with the water running so fast you wouldn't stand a chance.       Went to Wally World and got a cable for Lynn's camera...now I have a happy camper who can take her own pictures to post.
