    Janky Bikes and Baby Tigers

A travel blog entry by xxiong on Jun 29, 2015

Today was an early start! Odense was very interesting but my bike was so front heavy since it came with a basket. I really thought that i was going to either topple over or crash into someone by the end of the night. Luckily I didn't. My bike was a purple cruiser with flames on the step-through bar, which I thought was super sick at first. However, my bell started ringing on its own and the front basket made me realize that I have no navigational skills. How do Danish ...

    difficult to ignore.

Odense is not without its history of cars… In the 1960s they built a 4 lane road through the city to accommodate the growing number of cars, but today they are working to get rid of the road that has become a barrier in the community. ... we talked about people and growing up and being free and it was so nice. The perfect combonation of funny and heartfelt. I am really really going to miss Copenhagen. I cannot wait for our next leg of the journey even though I have no idea what to expect from Utrecht or Amsterdam but I know our group is going to bond even more and it will be another week full of some of the most amazing and unique experiences of my life. Okay, cheesy rant over.

... season, turning their blubber into oil in the time honoured fashion.

Speaking of turning someone’s blubber into oil, I think we could have happily done so to each other after a poor, no atrocious, episode of tying CW safely alongside in a strongish off the pontoon breeze. Suffice it to say that we are both still here and speaking to each other, but it took a while to do so!

    Once we’d calmed down, ...
