... sandwich was actually quite delicious. It was a great snack to hold us off for the brewery.

We had to meet up with everyone at the convention center by 3:15 to catch the bus. We had a unique opportunity to see some of the products Jeanne's company produces as well as some of the things their counterpart company sells. I even had a chance to operate the mechanical arms used to load radioactive sources - I think I would ...

... down for secure footing but want to look up to see beautiful architecture and scenery. We were successful and came out ankle-sprain free.

The afternoon was spent indoors (it had started raining by then) at the historic theater in Plzen (something from my wish list!) to see the Italian opera Napoj lasky. Songs were in Italian and the translation was in Czech so Jamie was probably the only one with ...

... back to the bar to meet up with our pub crawl.

This pub crawl takes place in Prague every night. And we learned later that it's not even the only one in Prague. Ours was on a Thursday and it was still packed by the time we started at 9. As promised, the bar was open for free beer and vodka for one hour and we had a chance to meet some other Americans, Scottish and Englishmen, and of course Australians. It was fantastic to finally have some human ...
