In the seven years since we arrived here in Austria we have not had a summer holiday. Running a busy biker hotel leaves little time for anything else. Not that we are complaining, It's been a lot of fun in itself. We have had holidays of course but only in our off season. 2015 is a year of big changes for us, with this being our last season here. The hotel has been sold and the new owners are gradually taking over. We are starting to think ...

We had arrived in late and nearly all the hotel/pensions were full and I don’t think they needed a couple of Aussies to add to the mix. Five kms away ...
Today we went to the world heritage site Dachstein Salzkammergut. It was really interesting but also disappointing. The day started again gloomy and very wet, we did not start on our adventure until eleven. But we did see the runners involved in the half day Martin run pass our hotel. We stood on our balcony as they went past with an offical telling them to go to the left to continue around the lake. We were told that we could to the cable car from our hotel and ...
