    ... things or showing you where to park your car, they will do anything for a few euros and they just have a plastic bag of their belongings but they are always smiling and polite when they approach. Never seen any trouble with them and the waiter told us that the Government was trying to help them. It was so sad to see them just standing on street corners looking thirsty and hungry in the heat!     ... special folding bits hanging from them which were buried in the sand to stop them blowing away! Never seen that in NZ. I walked down to the water , a very pebbly and granite and quartz beach , a bit ******* the feet! The water was nice , just the right temperature and so clear and that amazing blue. After that we drove home to some Prosecco and my turn to cook dinner. We had the best grilled Mediteranean vegetable dish known to the Med. picture should be there! From Robyn in ...

    ... with olive oil. Next out came some small fish cakes, some crumbed and butterflied mullet as well as a hot grilled fish which we pulled apart with our forks! What a feast , we were so full and then he bought out Tiramisu to finish. It included our wine also which was a Vermentino and the whole dinner and wine cost€54.

    So good to have local knowledge about these places otherwise you're just flying blind, really good experience!

    ... like rooms with organ pipes but it was all caused by many years of dripping water forming those staligtites and staligmites. Clear sea water formed large pools of water inside and the temperature stayed at 18 degrees all year round. The cave was amazing.

    We needed some lunch after this so we wandered up to near the sea wall and found a nice restaurant where we sat under some shade ...

    ... district close down between 1.00pm and 4.00pm each day, it can be annoying for the tourist if you haven't found lunch yet and only the expensive tourist set up places are open. We headed home for lunch too and I whipped up a Greek salad while we chilled out in the shady courtyard.

    Later on we headed out on foot to the old part of town where a historic stone wall lined the foreshore and wrapped itself around the old village. ...
