    Well here we are in Portugal, at Coimbra, which used to be the old capitol. It took a five hour trip from Salamanca in an air conditioned mini-van to get here, arriving about 3.00pm.     ... there is a special chapel full of wheel chairs and disabled people praying for miracles. It made me feel very sad for these desperate people. Beside this chaoel is a massive gas fire where people light and burn very large candles. e arrive in Coimbra at 6:30, check in and head into old town for finner.
