Our Zaragoza leg, 22-24 June. Train trip from Lleida to Zaragoza was very interesting through the irrigated plains again. Don't think theses plains in Spain get much rain! But the irrigation does a wonderful job! Wind turbines along the ridges of the mountains. Lots of them. Small towns, big churches and the odd castle or two kept us interested along the way.
Noticed some storks again with penthouse ...

Back to Barcelona and off the Epic. I love cruising but was actually quite glad to get off this one and back to reality. Long, long bus trip (around eight hours) to San Sebastian. Sore bum and swollen ankles. Had to change buses in Zaragoza. Couldn't find correct bus stand as the electronic timetable display thing didn't seem to include my destination or the time I had printed on my ticket. ... were probably only 2 cm big. They had no hair and their eyes were still shut. The mom was super protective and always hiding them under the straw stuff. They slowly grew until they were actually moving and eating on their own. It was so cute and happened so fast. We ended up giving 3 of them away. Lets just hope these two don't have more ...
