It was a beautiful morning. It was the first day for about a week that there was no wind whatsoever. This coupled with the clear blue sky meant that we ate outside for breakfast. We sat for nearly an hour to make the most of the rare weather! Soon we were off to the local Golf Football course (not Football Golf sorry..) where we played 2 full rounds of 18 holes. ... Who knows, perhaps he will do the same.

Having paid our dues, not as good value as yesterday, 21.00 and no free washing machine BUT internet access provided and had a cup of tea, we set off to find the railway station so that Paul could confirm times and purchase his ticket. We then went in search of a restaurant, as he was insistent that he wanted to treat us to dinner and we agreed that at least he could buy the wine but this, on a Saturday afternoon, was a ghost ...

... agricultural use. A large part of the area has been proclaimed as a Nature Reserve and is a paradise for water birds. We took a long ride through the area which had its moments like where the road ended up on the water's edge with only a self-help rope ferry to get us across.

The country side in spring is filled with flowers. The red, pink and white of Dog Roses, the purple of Lupins and the white of Box. The fields are green with wheat, barley and rye grass and many of the ...
