We are staying here for another day. We aren't sure yet where we will go after this. But there are several places that we are considering, including Orleans, Blois and Chinon. It was a watery sun this morning. Lunch with Sue and Tony in Les Rairies. It is so good to catch up with someone who has been a friend for over 40 years. The rain started after lunch and we quickly did the shopping we needed before heading back to Monty. We found when we were at a previous aire, ...

Poor Mal obviously was missing speaking in her native tongue because over the two days we were there, we learned all about them and I mean ALL. It was fun though and we did spend quite a bit of time with them although when they came into our van, we were not sure they would ever go but of course they did, eventually. We wandered up into the ...

      Mmm Macaroons!

... br> To celebrate we went to the Latin Quarter and had a beer, followed by dinner across the street at Cafe Buci (the Cafe that introduced me to my love of duck). Had the Croque Madam, a nice change from her brother sandwich. We then went for a stroll through St. Germaine, my favourite part of Paris, the part that looks like the Paris from the movies. By accident we ran into a large macaroon bakery. Lucky for us. Macaroons another food ...
