71km, (total 461km) 12-22deg, mostly cloudy with patches of sun, no rain. We could have easily spent more time in Bamberg, a fascinating city with a rich history. However we've pre-booked motels for the first part of the tour due to school holidays so we must keep moving. After a rather late (8am) brekkie (which was very nice) we rode away at 9am. It was easy finding our way out ...

Dinner was at the Smoked-Black-Beer-Pub, traditional German food, sauerkraut, bratwaust, boiled pork-belly, and roast pork shoulder etc, all very yummo!! We had a pleasant, warm evening and went to bed with less clothing on than any previous camping night on this trip - perhaps our luck had ...

... of the boat and had an amazing view. As the boat was passing by a line of fishermen's houses, there was an older man who was picking flowers. He brought the flowers over to his wife, who was standing in the window. It was so sweet! After we passed by the houses, we could tell we were starting to head out of the town. This is when the tour got interesting. We headed out of the town and went ...

Since we had two nights here we decided to make the most of the time and spent the morning Skyping, reading...just having a rest! It was so good to Skype with my friend Nicole (xxx to you missy), Mike & Ashlyn & to see their kitten and puppy growing big and keeping them on their toes! Rob & Jenny/Stephen & Sarah enjoying their time together in Singapore and seeing Stephen & Sarah's happy faces after their ...
