... Miami Binge Drinking Majors with a Minor in Gangsta got old really quick.
Our first day on South Beach was relatively quiet but that probably had something to do with the battalion of police sweeping the beach area breaking up drunken fights. And when did enormous, barely covered butts, that can't help but invoke images of an uncontrolled bowl of jello, become sexy??
... of the big temperature change from the 5ēC of the morning in Minneapolis.
South Beach Miami is a very picturesque strip of land and sand with Art Deco buildings painted in pastel colors. It is very nice: Palm trees, blue sky and water all around. Loud Latin Music everywhere (too bad we no longer have our reggaeton CD), flashy latino style...but fun.

We've made it to Miami! We finished our last day in New York by catching the subway across to Brooklyn to see a brewery, which ended up being closed! Didn't matter though there was a pub nearby that sold the Brooklyn Brewery stuff which was pretty good! We jumped onto google to try and find the best Burger and Nachos NYC had to offer! (What better way to spend our last afternoon ;) )The nacho joint just so happened to have half priced cocktails ...

I start down concourse D and find myself surrounded by stores and restaurant, typical airport stuff. Shopping is not a good idea since I can barely put another pen in my carryon and because I need to save all of my dinero for my actual vacation. Also I'm not that hungry - my well balanced in flight snack of crispers, carrots, a cheese string and tomato juice was surprisingly filling. I'm reminded of that ...
... plastic surgery to match. Longing for a few days of R&R, we head for the beach which we're disappointed to see how badly littered the sand is. Regardless we make the most of the time under an umbrella (which, of course you have to pay for - $30 a day for two beds and a brolly) doing a whole lot of nothing for three days straight.
