Salvador Los tortugas marinas!
... their mark in some way. This gave the place a lovely rustic, homely feel, and i liked it immediately. We were introduced to the only other volunteer at the camp due to it being winter season, her name was Fanie much to Snellers amusement, and she was French. Also there that night were two of the coordinators friends, there for the weekend, who spoke minimal english but passed around the sprits and instigated a game of bingo. A whole lot of nothing
La Pedrera was a chilled out surfer's town that was located about halfway between Punte del Esta and the Uruguayan/Brazilian border. If you didn’t surf, then there was pretty much nothing else to do here. Unfortunately, we were not aware of this when we booked 3 nights at our hostel! We have the best ravioli (with a fresh mushroom sauce) that we have tasted in a while ...
Cabo Polonio
... a concrete floor. It
wasn't the best night but at least we were close to the house during
the storm that we had the first night.
Next day we walk around
the beach and we saw sea lions who come to reproduce here every year.
We finish the day with a
nice sunset on the beach and this is priceless and much better than
all the buildings from Punta del Este.
Another must do in
Uruguay.
