Long Haul :-(

... to say, the tip was smaller than expected!

Then on to the 'cambio' guys. Testing a few on the way, we found a rate that was satisfactory ( 11.3 vs 7.1) and eventually decided to take a risk in a 'secure' office. Much to the amusement of the guys there we took great pains to check the authenticity and correct value of the notes but in the end all was well. We may revisit!

Buenos Aires

... I scrubbed up as best as I could and headed to the Four Seasons Hotel. It was SO AMAZING to see them, and I think I did a fairly good job of fitting in until I emerged from the bathroom shrieking "Oh my god!! This is a top pick!

I really like this video that just aired on BBC Travel and thought I'd share it. It's a really good, artistically shot video about Bogota. It dips into graffiti, art, transportation, food and the outlook the locals have on their city. If you have 5 minutes to spare, check it out. Skip to about 30 seconds in to avoid an annoying beeping noise!!
