    ... to young to it so then we hopped on the air train and went to the Lexington ave stop were we caught the subway to Central station and walked to our hotel and realised they it was a big glass building with the view of a river and Roosevelt Island and a massive Pepsi cola sign.     ... cowboy boots in a convertible car did get us a bit of American homophobic abuse at moments but bikini car washes and power slides has made up for it. Sadly dropped the car off and donated the crushed Texan cowboy hat to the very chuffed big black attendee. Got stung with an extra $200 charge for the second month of hire as apparently they had to draw up a new contract after a month incurring all the new contract fees including even the same airport pick up ...

    ... aren't interesting, unique or even pretty. I understand why it's called the 'Concrete Jungle'.

    We wandered to Times Square and went to the Olive Garden (famous in lots of movies and tv shows, Will and Grace for example). Can't go past all you can eat soup, bread and salad for $10.95.

    Times Square has a lot of construction going on so there is heaps of scaffolding, but impressive none the less. I can't wait to see it at night time!
