Very clean and pleasant staff, well located, but the water taps are worn out and drip continually, no hot water on second day. Very cold rooms, no heater supplied or available. Continental breakfast barely a one star.. Would not stay again...

We parted from Fran for the weekend to go checkout the beautiful city of San Miguel. But we should have planned our departure better... We arrived Friday night during a Film Festival. Apparently it's the busiest weekend of the year. Finding accommodation was like finding an English speaker in Brazil. We walked around for 2 hours until we finally convinced someone outside ...

... those pesky tourista's, who are a real nuisance.. And the 5 day weekend was closely followed by Teacher's Day (will it never end) and then, Mother's Day on May 10/Saturday (and no, it is never going to end)... I think that there is also a Grandparent's Day, but that may not be until the Fall.......

After dropping the kids off at school, mom and I had breakfast at the Parroquia Cafe. It was a leisurely morning.. she enjoyed the open air courtyard cafe and its water features. There were beautiful flowers in the large fountain this morning. After lattes and french toast, we walked to Mesones for the El Pipila trolley tour.

Unfortunately, the bilingual tour was later in the afternoon, but we hopped on anyway. Since I have already ...
