Laundry day hangs outside our bedroom window, and it is really windy today. Sure hope it is on the line when we get back this afternoon! The Celebrity Equinox is in port today so we were worried about getting the bus to Nice, and sure enough, there was a long lineup, but we managed to get on, even if we had to stand all the way. It only took about 15 minutes. We got off at Place Garibaldi which is at the top of the old town, and we headed for ...

Tonight for dinner we ate in a small place I had pizza. The crust tasted like pita bread. My husband bought mussels but they weren't as good as last night's.

... to the small grocery and picked up a sandwich to share for lunch and some pastries.

After a rest, we had a dinner at 7:30 at the Restaurant Franchine, where we had pig terrine, escargots (in the shells!). We also experienced a hot cast iron dish from the escargots causing the glass charging plate to crack with a huge pop. Dad and I both jumped a bit but thankfully no glass injured anyone and the plate had broken fairly cleanly in half. The embarrassed waiter ...

We arrived in Nice, it really looks like Australia. Which I haven't seen in a while..

So when we arrived we went for a walk around town and we found like a theme park of christmas stuff.
It had a ferris wheel and an ice skating ring.

And after that we went to subway.
Then we went back home to go to sleep.

        The ...
