    ... time-- they loved it! We sat in lounge chairs and soaked up the Tyrollean sun and Dolomite views. We went into the mountain house for a sausage, cheese, bread and beer lunch, along with potato chips-- which we forgot mean french fries!! Then back outside to play, play, play. Then we hiked an hour down the mountain which was tough on the legs, but lots of fun too. Sidenote: Brady dropped his water bottle from the lift on the way up, but we found it on our hike down. ...

    ... ride was talking to a lovely, older couple from British Columbia, and finally getting a seat after 30 minutes of standing on this hot train. We arrived in Milan and quickly boarded train number two. We didn't get water as we knew we'd be in first class and would have food service. Lovely first class!! Assigned seats, air conditioned car, food service, delicious coffee (at noon!!!), and fabulous sandwiches. And what were we thinking only getting ONE small bottle ...

    ... for more that 10mins and I can start to smell faint electric burning, and I can hear a pop crackly kinda noise coming from somewhere. Wondering what to do, Lily makes the choice for me when she conks out again! So, out goes the warning triangle and the phone call is made to the recovery company.     ... moment I had an inkling of what it might be like to work for the Yukon Geological Survey - maybe I missed my true calling in life?
