Getting caught up!
... getting an early start in an effort to try to get a jump on all the large caravans. We've made reservations at the more popular stops along the way but are also planning on 'winging it' quite a bit! We are prepared for all types of weather but we are really hoping we don't have to pull out our snow gear!! It should be a great three months and I promise to keep you posted on all of our adventures and discoveries. Honest!!

Road Trip to Mercey Hot Springs
... read, bird watched and just plain relaxed.
Prior to leaving we showered at the indoor shower where the pool is. Actually there were two shower changing areas with toilets separated by the sauna. Kind of a sauna sandwich. The shower offers only hot water, but the good flow made it all the more enjoyable.
We decided to take a little tour before leaving.

Oakhurst and Yosemite National Park
... riding to try and fool us that we might have some element of control. Once that was done we were off on a trail through the woods which had a good deal of snow in from recent weeks. We crisscrossed up and down through the woods with the leader up front assisting Josh, who got more relaxed as we went, followed by Liz, then Ian, then the Oz family of four.
