      I am back in beautiful San Miguel at last..
      I was starting to get very homesick
      for San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.
      when I was in Ottawa..

      Life in San Miguel/Mexico seems to be
      a lot easier and simplier and less complicated for me
      than life in Ottawa, Canada...

      Maybe it is because when I come to San Miguel./Mexico
      I leave all of the baggage ...

      to start with, and are now very ****** off,,still have to earn a living....
      So there may be other reasons
      for the increase in the crime rate in San Miguel...

      There were and are no replacement for the fired policemen...
      The pool of people in San Miguel with the educational requirements
      to be a policeman is very limited, and is not sufficient enough
      to enable the police to hire the required ...

      ... happens. We met a couple from Northern California and a going to tour a smallish town nearby tomorrow. The town is called Guanajuato. Apparently a lot of the roads etc are underground, supposed to be interesting. Dec 5. This was a very interesting day as we where accompanied by a young fellow who was our driver and guide. Besides us there where 2 other couples from the States. Making the tour with only 6 people was great. The name of the town means frog ...
