    ... breakfast the following morning if the weather was on our side, we’ll have to wait and see on that one!

    Having done a lot of driving and exploring today we were glad to relax in this lovely house (even if the paintings in the room were spooky!) and recharge the batteries for another busy day tomorrow – Monaco, Nice, Aix en Provence and Cavaillion!

    ... The specialty stores abound and the selection was decadent. An entire shop of olives, one of oils, of nuts. There were perfumeries, and luxury soap and body cream stores on every corner. Fabric stores, ceramics, kitchen shops, antiques, jewellery stores, designer clothing. By supper hour the shoppers were returning home to their five star accommodations and overburdened hotel valets suddenly had the job of carting armloads of purchases inside from the driveways.
