    ... and nunnery which is now just a church and all that remains are the external walls. We walked through the quirky, hilly streets, explored their 'private' beaches where you have to pay to get on the beach and even more to hire a sun-bed or use the change rooms! Something we couldn't get our heads around! Apparently all the public beaches are further out of town and aren't very nice at all.

    ... along the way. They weren't the best baguettes we'd had, but our honey, olive tapenade, and remaining cheese more than made up for it. We hung out at the beach for a while, taking turns swimming and watching our stuff. Instead of sand, there were rocks on the beach, and it wasn't great for walking, but at least we weren't covered in sand when we left.

    ... and looks supreme. As it is an artist town, it is full of very expensive galleries and cobbled narrow streets. Absolutely fabulous and the weather was great for all but the last half hour. Many ideas for Bernadette's "building a better garden at home" plan.

    ... already up our *****….) we find hotel and follow signs for Hotel Ariston. It’s clean, the room is nice and the car has a home under the building. (and you can’t help thinking about that silly jingle in the 80’s "Ariston – and on – and on – silly).
