Today is officially our last day and night in Italy and our last 5 days left of this epic Europe trip. The drives are now starting to get longer as we clock up the miles homeward bound.

We hit lots of tunnels and toll roads today as we hugged the Italian Riveria. Our planned lunch stop was going to be Portofino, a small bay with cliff side restaurants and ...

Paul had the cod topped with smoked duck and it also was delicious. The vegetable came in ...

... stories about some people. Today, our subject was the older lady in our hostel. I've decided that she has fallen in love with a man from the Italian mafia and is planning something out with them. She says she doesn't know English, but I honestly think she does and just chooses not to use it. She's an observer as well and watches everyone from her bed and just stares and watches people. She doesn't so anything really and she's not tan, so it's not like she's ...

... impossible to find parking - the train station was even worse than Barcelona …the stress in the air is THICK and the French seem to make catching the train as difficult as possible. Of the 4 ticket selling machines , only one was working and would not accept any notes - only coins or credit cards…because of this the queue to purchase was an hour long. After obtaining tickets , we all caught the tram back to enjoy a leisurely lunch of Tapas in the Old quarter with Trish ...
