    ... But it is actually quite good – spacious room and people are nice and friendly. We took the bus into the city centre and it was relatively ‘chiusod’ to start off with. However we eventually found a café for lunch and had enjoyable pizza and a tasty salad. Craig also spotted our very first sfolliatelle and it was very nice indeed – along with coffee. Yum.

    ... in with the Italian drivers. It's 8 pm and I know it gets dark just before 9pm.. Great... dark just when we have to turn off the autostrade and onto the winding country roads.... make good time since driving like Italians... Take the turn off for Urbino ( larger town we have to drive through to get to Urbania... It's now pitch black outside, narrow twisting country roads, more " traffic circles" than you can imagine for such a rural area. ...

    ... a long time. Nice sleep. 2nd day: Thunder, lightening and heavy rain in the morning. Almost all museums and public touristic places close on Monday. I was thinking should i cancel to go to Siena and stay in Bologna one day more. However, the weather turned out nicely after my breakfast.     ... br> A couple of school friends of The WAG's had been staying in Viareggio, but came over to see us in Lucca that day, and so we were in town for a meal. By the time we had seen them safely on to the train back to the resort, we only managed to catch the last 45 minutes of the concert, luckily it didn't finish until gone midnight. The last band was an Italian group we think, and boy, could they play a guitar! There was 10 of them in the group ...
