In the morning we had a very pretty walk along the river into town; the path started in our campsite so we left everything in camp and went in to have a look around. Escargots & Grenouilles
... just perfectly. And the smell of the fresh basil as you bit into that topped it all off. Not to mention that it looked so colorful it was appealing to look at! We could have eaten a couple of the pastries without any problem but decided to show some restraint. Croix de Fer
... was going to do the epic Alpe d’Huez in the rain, we had a relaxing morning and decided to make pancakes. Not having any measuring tools and tripling the recipe, we kind of winged it with the proportions which resulted in a sort of crêpe/pancake cross.
