    ... rather dubious u-turn and arrived at our hotel, Le Royal. After checking in, we drove to the nearby car park and left the car for the night. Walking back we checked out a few restaurant menus before deciding to eat next door at Queenie Brasserie.     We proceed to the tiny village of Pont du Loup to visit Confisserie Florian, where we watch the small factory make sweets, candies and jams, from fruits-clementines, lemons and cherries and crystallized flower petals-rose, verbena and violet.     I woke to the sound my phone on silent, buzzing with the sound of a phone call from the desk beside me. Dane had hastily jumped out of bed and snatched it up.

    'It's him!', he exclaimed, 'We slept in!'

    ... a lot larger than expected. I was driving kids and Wade nuts with purposely mispronouncing the name - instead of Neece - I was saying Nice...yeah, funny at first - not so much the ten thousandth time!

    ... with me as the Security fellow told me my Birkenstocks were ok.
    I went in after that after swapping shoes again. We didn't pay the 10€ to go in so just had a look around the entrance really.
    Paul and I both remember how the expensive cars park out the front and it is still like that.
    I still think they plant them there just for the tourists to check out! Could be wrong. Maybe the owners really are inside gambling while the tourists are eying off ...
