... Nice does not seem to care about the games, imagine that, so most places in the Old Town are not open for dinner yet. Wander around a bit until eventually I find a place that has outdoor seating, with a canopy overhead, and serving dinner. Place is right across from the bar that is showing NFL games, so that makes it quite convenient. Food is good, though the service is a bit slow, but being in France, guess that's sort of expected. Finish up ...

      Monaco bound

Another morning started with a trip to the market for fresh items.
Today is Monaco day for us.
Rode the bus and took in the scenery of cliffs and expensive homes and boat harbor's.
We walked thru the park to the Monte Carlo Casino and there is no doubt about it, this place is for the ridiculously rich, obscenely extremely opulent and a squillion tourists including us!
The cars alone are worth more than my home, and I mean each car, not the total.
      We made ...

Though Rosalina Bar was not crowded, it did offer a selection of cognac. We toasted to Rufio’s birthday at midnight, and the gracious bartender offered us both a complimentary snifter before we set out again.

Rufio hadn’t yet had his customary Guinness-in-a-pub yet on this trip, so when ...

... a number 2! All in all, a pretty successful stop and we came out looking a little more respectable.

With the look of vineyards all around us we decided to do a wine tasting and after buying a couple of bottles settled for the night near an over pass. Sadly our drinking habits from London have well and truly vanished, after four bottles of wine, some dancing in the streets and scaring ...

      Hi everyone

In Nice we went to the beach and threw rocks in the water. We met Talia and Vincent at a restaurant and we played tiggy. On Sunday we went to the park and played on wooden pirate ship and a wooden whale.

In Grasse we bought bars of soap and perfume for mum on mothers day.
