Arrived at Valencia and did my usual drive through a few narrow streets following the Satnav to locate tonight's beautiful campsite parking. It has only recently opened and has a pool laundry and small restaurant and bar for only €10 a night. No touring today just a bit of research into what to see in Valencia tomorrow and catch up on domestic duties. There is a Metro stop ...

... the van in and they said they couldn't see me for at least two weeks - Horror! So I pleaded, threatened tears, cajoled and rang Germany for help and support and finally I was told I could try the following Monday. Six days is a better wait than two weeks but the people in Valencia were quite clear that they were extremely busy and that if I took the van to them on Monday and they were too busy, they wouldn't do the work and I should have to return at a later date. ...

... and Caravan Club Rally. The site is very well run and we have running water and mains drainage attached to the van.

On the Saturday night a group of us walked into town to see the statue of the Virgin from the church carried around the town. It is a great honour for the local men to carry it and Emilio, the barman at the site, was among ...
