... This required some complicated local bus transfers, so after the museum marathon, I was pretty spent. I lazily wandered around the garden, opting not to hike up into the cloud forest. I just tried to enjoy the trees and the tranquility away from the bustling, traffic-heavy streets of Xalapa.

The next day I headed out to a nearby town to check out a few waterfalls. I got eaten alive by mosquitos just for a few photos. I had some delicious regional mole and a new drink called torito. Not sure what is in it but it was good. Back into town to shower and scratch my arms and legs for a few hours. Rested up and packed to be on my way in the morning. ... cuddly hairy putri madres (mother f*ckers) that scare the **** outta me.. Which isn't hard with this Mexican food! ;)

I should have jet lag more than I have but my adrenaline my excitement is keeping me up, or it could be their coffee which is UNBELIEVABLE I have one sip and it's like iv had half a gram of cocaine shoved up me bum.. I'm flying round the room like frank spencer with turrets and a tick and they drink this stuff like WATER ?! god help me!!

Another boring bus journey, this time Bond in spanish, apart from that, the movies were dismal, definitley getting worse.

Had to get a taxi to the hostel, as nobody knew of it , got him to take me to the street, thankfully saw the sign first, so no wandering about with the pack, which I swear has bricks in it!
