... up for the day. Everyone split off to go do their own thing for the day so Quinn and I spent the morning walking around town and visited the small city zoo and aquarium which only cost NZ50cents to get into. We then caught a cable car up to the top of a hill in town for panoramic views. We met up with everyone else later that afternoon and drove back to the same camp spot for another night ...

... didn't have patience for me to use my dictionary while we talked.
-----He especially spat his words while warning me about the Kurdish areas of Turkey. He often said, "Pe Ka Ka" - which I would later learn was the name of a Kurdish terrorist organization. He said he wasn't a Kurd but a "kurt" (wolf), and proudly shaped his hand into a canine head.

Wstaliśmy o 4 rano, zeby zlapac samolot o 6 rano do Kutaisi. I podekscytowany, bo od zawsze ogladal Kapitana Bombe i Kutaisi to prawie jak Kutacz, na ktorego Kapitan zawsze lecial.

Lotnisko w Kutaisi ladne, nowe, wszystko ok, oprocz deszczu. Wskoczylismy do marszrutki do Batumi, bo dlaczego by nie;) Plan mamy jeden, z zachodu jedziemy na wschod. Reszte wymyslimy w trasie.

W marszrutce jedzie z nami rezydentka, z ktorą I robi krotki ...

... to be a very small village, without even a normal grocery store, but with a beautiful fort. Because of rain, we decided to postpone our camping plans a night, and we found a nice guesthouse in Omalo, where we stayed the night.

I had never gone to the bathroom in an outhouse before. I've had experience of course with the nice little plastic ones that spring up at festivals and concerts, but a real bonafide outhouse from dirty planks of wood? Never! All that was lacking was the little crescent moon cut out on the front door.
