    Left for belgium this morning. Just entered the french speaking country and I read about some caves in liege, belgium that I will try to find. And then onto brussels.. an intereting thing in europe is all the public bathrooms cost money to use... here are some pictures of the roads. The sign that looks like a ghost busters sign means theres no speed ...

    On Sunday, we embarked on our journey from Kaiserslautern, Germany to Brugge, Belgium. We had a scheduled FIVE trains to get us to our destination. After misinterpreting our first itinerary and missing the very first train, we were able to catch another train to get us back on track towards Brugge.     ... to see another church. So I made my way down to Helpoort again. The sun was still shinning and I thought it would be nice to sit by the lake and read my book. Just have a quiet afternoon.     ... t do a tour of the fortress because the don't offer them in English. But I was able to book an English tour of the "caves". The caves are a series of limestone mines under the town. At one point there were 22,000 mines down there. Now there are only 8000. The others were lost when they dug out the quarry.     ... which is just down the road from the station. Checked in, got settled then headed on out to find some lunch...at 3 in the afternoon. Im found the main square, well one of them, there are three in Maastricht. Picked a cafe and had a nice leisurely lunch.
