    Comfortable night and a good breakfast plus a roll for lunch. We set off around 9oc and, by Lilli asking various people, found a good bike path, a former railway line, which went nearly to Krefeld, 10km from the Rhine. It took some time and more asking, to find our way through the town. We had to stop to eat as Lilli went wobbly with low sugar. The only place we could find was a car park in the Mercure Hotel.     ... 20 min later we are on the way again. So we were routed via Paris and CDG and we ended up in a huge traffic standstill.....there was an accident and it took over an hour to clear enough of it to get through. Now we are passing through along the A 1 past Amiens and the Somme area from WWI and then Lille and Somehow around Bruxelles to Balen where we will stay with Inez and Klaas for 2 nights ...
