... selv, for så å finne seg selv igjen. Saint Marie, et eventyr, en utrolig plass og noen dager i en boble. Nå, tilbake i tamatave, virker dagene våre på øya helt uvirkelige.
Anders har nå reist tilbake til tana for så å reise videre vestover sammen med noen andre venner. Kjetil har kommet til Tamatave ifra Norge, og jeg, Arild og Kjetil har leid en 4x4, og skal fra i morgen ta fatt på den dårligste og vanskeligste veien i landet RN5.

Rainforest of Madagascar
... a basic base camp but comfortable enough for a night. As soon as we arrive, it started raining - no wonder because it is the rainforest. Got our raincoat on and we started our walks.
For the first walk, we only found this flat gecko and our first lemurs. But during our first walk in the evening, we saw more animals. I did not know that it was easier to these spot small animals by night than by day.

Ile Sainte Marie
... we'll stay in touch through e-mail (he doesen't use a phone) to let him know when we're arriving and see what games are going at that time. I'm not really that in to soccer but hitting up the SA games would be really an experience. I hope this will happen. Thanks Tymo.
Ok well I think food is ready soon, gonna go grab a tummy full of fish and maybe knock back a couple of beers.

I Can Feel The City Breathing
... much here. Bungalows by the beach, cold showers and some weird monkeythings. There's two Lemur families living on the island and one of them hangs by the area we're staying at. They're pretty social and the father even approaches you and lets you pet him. The climate is quite wet. At the moment it rains maybe 3 or 4 times a day for a few minutes and then it stops suddenly and the sun shines again. Nobody here is dumb enough to try ...
Whale watching
... went out I wasnt going to risk my cameras while we were out on the boat - far too much water - so the pix here were taken by one of the volunteers the day after I left.... the sea looks much calmer.
The whole Madagascar adventure was something I would recommend and readily repeat... but maybe I'd do it just a few weeks later (end August?) to have likelihood of more sun less ...
