For the final day, we got up and had our normal breakfast. Sam laughed that the HP had been unopened the whole season and since Thomas arrived, we'd just finished the bottle!

We had a couple of hours to kill so decided to go sledging. Kids loved it although it nearly killed Sinead. Isabel and Thomas did some nice runs and there was a nice carved toboggan run. For the final run, Thomas decided to go to the top of the ...

Thomas was hilarious, saying he had done it before and could go up to the top of the mountain! Isabel was quieter but confident.

We then headed up the mountains and enjoyed some great skiing…Sinead was calm and cool ...

... got there, it was pretty much closed although we saw some of the fish being packed up ready for the restaurants We tried to get some food but the best fresh Japanese restaurants had queues of up to 2 hours!

The kids were getting hungry and so we headed back to the hotel but decided to take a detour to visit the famous criss-cross pedestrian crossing at Shinjuku. This is the one that is on all the films. Even to find the crossing was a ...
