    ... currently at 155,000. It is the capital of the La Rioja region which is one of the smallest and yet more diverse regions of Spain & is renowned for its superlative wines.
    La Rioja is sandwiched between the mountains of Navarra and the flat plains of the Meseta of Castilla y Leon. It is geographically split between High Rioja which is the main wine growing region and the lower area where market gardening is more prominent.

    ... one and the struggling one did amazing, and I promised I would buy them an ice cream at our destination, meaning a massage and hot bath, which is exactly what I did. I had the most awesome bathtub at Hotel Calle Mayor, a tiny 12 room hotel in Logrono. I was too tired to head out and enjoy their famed pinchos.     Don't pick eyelashes off my face for me. Make me aware of them, and I can do it myself. Every time someone else's fingers get anywhere near my eyes, I'm convinced they're trying to poke them out.

    ... vines lining one wall, a bar, seating area and a very unique glass table over an old well. We followed our afternoon routine of grabbing lunch at a bar, getting showers, getting clothes washed and dried, a nap, blog/journals, and organizing our stuff for the next day.
