Well from the outside of city there is a breathtaking view of the upper town but once you are in it I woudn't say the same. Still there is plenty to see wandering around the streets and lots of lovely churches to explore. But it's definitely not the best medieval town in Italy.

The highlight of Breschia has to be the UNESCO site of Santa Guilia museum which traces the site from the roman times with 2 houses complete with mosaics through the convent of the Middle Ages and up through the Lombardy Renaissance period. ... radio in Italian. Just another drive in the italian countryside. We are staying at a farm stay where they have their own cows, goats, chickens, wine, oil, eggs and veggies. Just had an amazing meal with everything home grown. Beef to melt in your mouth, very delicious goat cheese, home made salami and lard to put on the home made bread!!! Wow.
