Finalmente, tomamos el auto y nos fuimos a donde estaríamos los próximos tres días, Laredo, una pequeña localidad costera, a unos 40 minutos en carretera desde Bilbao. I had to wake up SO EARLY to catch my 8am bus to Santander. I HATE LUGGAGE SO MUCH! There is nothing I hate more than being that person dragging luggage through public places. I felt like I had so much luggage(though I had less than some!). I just wanted to find my bus and go to sleep for the 6 hour bus ride...which is what I did for the most part. Visit to the Caves
We went to the crystal caves called el soplao. These were massive and are supposed to be one of the best caves in the world for unusual geological formations. The cave were found by miners digging for lead and zinc. There were people shaped rocks and there was a little place where there were crystals all over the ceiling. There was also a swirly shaped crystal and they don't yet know how it grew that ...
