Merida and Los LLanos
... We were amazed at how many birds we saw: black skimmer, scarlet ibis, black vulture, maguari storks, king fishers and various herons including a leopard one to name just a few! We also passed caiman and iguanas sunning themselves on the banks, families of capybaras and as the boat sped past, turtles jumped into the water. ... wandered in and started strutting around the station. This was funny for sure, but the real comedy (sort of) came when one of the ladyboys was doing it’s hair in a mirror, and as soon as it walked away to exit some guy flew in and pushed it to the ground and started kicking it and yelling. Then the other 2 ladyboys appeared and started sticking up for their friend attacking the guy, with some success but were mostly bouncing off of him. The melee spilled into the street ...
